Starší kolekce jsou postupně převáděny do evidence CES Ministerstva kultury ČR, nový materiál je spravován již pouze ve smyslu zákona 122/2000 Sb. a následných předpisů. V databázi jsou průběžně evidovány přírůstky, a je do ní převáděna i kartotéka paleontologických kolekcí, která je přístupná v pracovně oddělení sbírek.
