Application of the "Geoscience Research Reports", which contain papers in thematic groups about the results of the latest research and progress in different fields of geological science and applied geology, including the results of investigations carried out abroad. They have been published as regular periodical journals in printed form by the CGS since 1952. A free access to full-fledged texts of single articles has been provided since 1991 in electronic form (pdf).

The map application shows the Czech Republic‘s geothermal potential and its limitations. Map layers indicating the temperature distribution (°C) at various depths ranging from 400 m to 5000 m, a map of heat flux distribution (mW.m-2) at the surface, and a map of the thermal conductivity of rocks (W. m-1. K-1) illustrate the geothermal potential. The application also includes thematic layers depicting limitations and conflicts of interest, which are constraints on the use of geothermal energy due to natural...

This database (SDE) contains data from a gravity survey of the entire Czech Republic at the scale of 1:200,000 from the period 1957-1960 (100% of the territory – ca 23 thousand gravity points). Since 1960, the systematic gravity survey at the scale of 1:25,000 has started and covers nearly 70 % of the Czech Republic area. At the end of 2018 the database contains 3,992 gravity points from the old mapping at the scale 1:200,000 and 304,199 points from the detailed mapping 1:25,000; this new data replaces the...
