Projekt CGS: 682000 - Hodnocení náchylnosti k sesouvání v hornatých částech Gruzie na příkladu ohrožených sídel, mezinárodní silnice a energovodů v municipalitě Dusheti, 2014-2016, podpořeno MZV (Českou rozvojovou agenturou).
Cílem projektu je zvýšení schopnosti geologické sekce NEA předcházet ohrožení vyplývajícímu ze svahových nestabilit v cílové oblasti, a to především díky tomu, že dokáže identifikovat území náchylná k sesouvání na základě nově nabytých znalostí a zkušeností s terénním průzkumem a priorizací svahových nestabilit, modelováním v prostředí GIS a aktivním využíváním nové databáze svahových nestabilit, která bude v rámci projektu přizpůsobena pro použití v podmínkách Gruzie. Tato schopnost najde uplatnění nejen pro územní plánování a rozvoj v regionu, ale také identifikuje místa, na kterých je výhodné započít s preventivními opatřeními tak, aby nebyla poškozována stávající infrastruktura a nedocházelo k úbytku obyvatel v postižených horských oblastech. The project aim is to increase the ability of the geological section NEA prevent threats stemming from the slope instabilities in the target area, mainly due to the fact that he can identify the areas prone to sliding on the newly acquired knowledge and experience in field research and prioritization of slope instabilities, modeling in GIS and active use of the new database, slope instabilities, which will be part of the project adapted for use in conditions of Georgia. This capability finds application not only for regional planning and development in the region, but also identifies places where it is preferable to start with preventive measures so as not existing damaged infrastructure and prevent loss of population in affected mountainous areas.
