Surface water – chemistry

Map server application shows the chemical analysis results of the are available for individual surface water sampling points in the Czech Republic in 1984-2018. At the same time, an areal overwiew of the surface water chemistry in the Czech Republic between 2007-2010 is available. During this period, there was a dramatic decrease in acid deposition and significant improvement in wastewater treatment, the main factors affecting the chemistry of surface streams. For the selected components shows the change from conditions in the years 1984-1996. It is a period when there was probably the greatest pollution of surface waters and their affected by acid rain.
