This database contains laboratory measurements of a range of physical properties of rocks, which can be subdivided into two groups: 1) scalar parameters – density (mineralogical and bulk densities), porosity, mean magnetic susceptibility, and natural radioactivity (U, Th, K and total gamma-ray activity), 2) anisotropic (oriented) parameters – remanent magnetization, velocities of elastic wave propagation, electrical properties and induced polarization. The database comprises two sub-databases – physical ...

Photogrammetric 3D model shows a part of westward tunnel Z3-XX located on the 20th floor of the Rožná uranium mine roughly 1000 m below ground level. This illustrative model is a part of a much larger collection of nearly 200 similar models created between years 2018 - 2019 as a part of project "Obtaining data from deep horizons of Rožná mine" funded by the Radioactive waste repository authority of the Czech Republic (SÚRAO). These models have been used to determine actual state and frequency of brittle fr...

Photogrammetric 3D model shows part of the Jizerka stream in the Jizerka village. This area is famous for historical and current illegal sapphire mining. This area has been historically famous for precious stones (sapphire and izerine) which makes it still attractive for individual searchers. Currently any mining activities are strictly forbidden. 3D model enabled to study past systematic mining in this area, including estimation of number of stones obtained.

Photogrammetric 3D model of the northern bank of the Nechranice dam in the Czech Republic, composed of uncemented sandstone, intercalated with clay, caustobiolites and volcanic or volcanoclastic material. The model captures the normal fault structure separating the sandstone part (left side of the model) and the sandstone with clay and caustobiolite inserts (right side of the model), including a recent landslide. The imaging of the area took place in the summer of 2018, when during the dry season the water...
